Chicago loop based law firm specializing in Creditors Right’s seeks a full-time clerk for our Chicago, IL office. The clerk reviews accounts to determine whether a lawsuit is warranted.  If so, the clerk prepares the lawsuit and forwards the account to an attorney for final approval.  Applicant must be detail oriented, organized, reliable, and must be able to work independently.    Essential Functions Review accounts to determine whether legal action is recommended Prepare lawsuits in accordance with the client and firm policy and procedure Request documentation as needed Forwards the lawsuits to the attorney group to review Matches documents to suits and summons Promptly returns to corrections to the attorney group Performs other duties as assigned.
