 The primary function is to provide Tool Room, Cavity Room and Manufacturing Departments with the technical assistance, documentation and direction.  Independently conceive and implement designs to improve safety, quality, productivity and standard cost problems in the manufacturing process.    Job Responsibilities: Troubleshoot the golf ball manufacturing process. Look for opportunities and ways of improving the existing tooling process and equipment. Work effectively and professionally with all levels of employees. Provide excellent communication written and verbally to all levels of manufacturing. Establish and maintain manufacturing instructions. Be a project leader with a group of peers. Design and draw in CAD required components needed for molds and tooling Lead and participate in tooling and molding improvement initiatives. Assist in transitioning of new products and processes from the Research and Development group to the Manufacturing group. The Tooling Engineer will review, modify and implement changes to prints and models Supervisory responsibility for hourly tool room personnel.
