Functional Area:   ProcurementFacility:   Distribution CenterRelocation Provided:   NoTravel Percent:  0 Lenovo is searching for a site buyer for our manufacturing facility in Whitsett, N.C. In this role you will be responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. This will include raw material, electronic components, and parts. You will be responsible for evaluating vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers. You will also be responsible for forecasting, invoice processing, reporting.Other responsibilities include:*Plan engineering changes implementation dates according to component demand, OH inventory and supply availability.*Monitor E&O components and support inventory reduction strategies*Provide daily status for missing parts report*Execute weekly forecast analysis and related actions according to business needs*Daily communication and interlock with process customers. Prepare information for managemet reviews.
