Continuing to leverage video for digital marketing and ecommerce conversion is a strategic priority for Wilton Enterprise. The Digital Marketing Videographer/Editor is responsible for planning, structuring, setting-up, conducting video shoots and edit the shot video for publishing across social and digital channels (e.g. YouTube and Facebook) in support of digital marketing and ecommerce objectives. The position reports to the Vice President of Digital Marketing. Responsibilities: • Develop digital video production and publishing calendar based on marketing, ecommerce, and training needs • Collaborate with marketing and ecommerce on how to utilize video in support of their marketing, operations and business objectives • Identify the best way to tell the ‘story’ via video that conveys the main communication points identified in conjunction with marketing and Ecommerce • Collaborate with the rest of the digital marketing team throughout the entire process – from conception to publication • Oversee the scheduling, coordination, and execution of all videography, including ensuring that videos are shot on time and on budget • Perform post-production editing, including the optimization of video for the intended platform(s) • Partner with digital marketing and ecommerce to create playbooks of best practices in optimizing video for various consumer facing digital channels • Ensure that the production quality and aesthetics should be consistent with brand • Leverage analytics in order to measure audience retention and other critical KPIs and use those KPIs to identify way to optimize performance • Keeps abreast of the evolving digital video trends, opportunities, technical requirements, and competition • Manage and develop staff on the best ways to plan, shoot, edit, and optimize video • Responsible for the asset management and organization of videos Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in film/video new media, or related field • 2+ years of practical related experience in digital video production and computer-based editing or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Expert knowledge in studio lighting and audio • Expert knowledge of editing software (e.g. Final Cut) • Fundamentals of HD video production codecs and equipment • A strong grasp on story boarding, filming, post production, and composition • Understanding of streaming video, including YouTube Live Events, etc. • Ability to seamlessly edit videos, including sound and color corrections • Expert knowledge of current digital media production, equipment and processes • Attention to detail, with an ability to oversee and prioritize multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines • Knowledge of story-telling techniques • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team • Desire to continue to learn and grow professionally Wilton Brands LLC is an equal employment opportunity employer.
