This position will be measured by retention, profitability, customer satisfaction, process enabling, employee engagement and employee satisfaction and development.The Director of Client Training will be responsible for the strategic direction for our Client Services Training Department in addition to the design of curriculum.  The Director of Client Training will identify appropriate methodology to deliver tactical training.  This includes the support of our clients and their employee's particular training needs and targeted learning strategies to include computer based, self-study and classroom style trainings.This individual will be responsible for content design, implementation, and overseeing the communications strategy for our clients to ensure clients are able to self-implement add on modules.  The Director of Client Training will anticipate our clients' needs and put appropriate deliverables in place.Performance ObjectivesDesign, facilitate and manage training and development activities for Customer Engagement tools, processes, and procedures; including curriculum design, content, and implementations strategiesAdministrator Training / End User Training and implement ‘train the trainer' programs for our clientsOwn the training experience and understand how we can maximize learning: address the unique learning styles and needs of our clientsPartner with marketing department regarding outbound communication to ensure a more integrated approach and determine key messagesKeep abreast of changes to Paylocity products and services and identify strategies to keep clients informed and current products offeredLead cross-functional efforts keep our client base educatedMaintain and keep user manuals up to date and current with release trainingsDevelop structure, roles and responsibilities and metricsPartner with external Clients to understand needs: design and develop all training plans, materials, content, and delivery methodsPartners with operations leaders to develop appropriate training that will directly improve the client experienceDirects and manages the assessment of internal and external client needs for strategic learning initiatives that align with constantly changing products and servicesEvaluates the effectiveness of training outcomes, assess the quality of training events and takes corrective action to improve learning activitiesAdvises management on complex training-related business problems and solutions across multiple business units and functional organizationsConsiders and has experience with alternative methods to traditional instructor led trainingPerforms other duties and special projects as required.
