Educator – Electronic Health RecordsMercy Health System of Southeastern Pennsylvania (MHS) is seeking a full-time Educator for the Technology Education team based at our Corporate Offices located in Conshohocken, PA.The Educator’s focus will be training Mercy Health System clinical and non-clinical staff on the use of the Electronic Health Record and other related technology. Responsibilities also include developing and analyzing workflows. The Educator will utilize approved instructional design methodologies to develop education and he/she will deliver both group and one-on-one education sessions in classrooms. Qualified candidates will possess the following combination of education, skills and experience: •BS/BA degree •Minimum one year experience as a Educator•Prior experience in a healthcare setting •Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software is essential•Strong presentation, organizational and communications skills •Must have excellent customer service skills and be results oriented•Experience with practice management systems and electronic health records preferred •Ability to travel within the Northeast Region of the United States is required•Must be able to work occasional weekend and evening hoursMercy Health System of Southeastern Pennsylvania is a diverse, integrated system, providing comprehensive health services and is comprised of four acute care hospitals, a home health care organization, a federal PACE program, Wellness Centers, and primary & specialty care practices.
