Our fan base is an insatiably loyal, nearly zealous audience dialed into every aspect of the technology world.   There’s a reason why we have such great talent retention – our work environment.  If you like working at a company where individual contribution matters and is recognized, where you can have both autonomy and support to achieve your goals and where creativity and accomplishment are rewarded, then you should consider Dice Holdings.   Our teams are growing and we are looking for an Executive Sales Director in New York.  This position will serve as the territory lead and key driver of the Slashdot Media sales engine.  Work in a highly collaborative environment with inside Campaign Managers, sales operations, ad operations, and marketing to accelerate revenue growth.  The responsibilities are to work directly with existing and prospective clients through in-person meetings to clearly articulate the Slashdot Media unique selling proposition using consultative selling techniques.   In this position you will: Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales goals. Increase revenue from existing accounts and close new business. Maintain high level of face to face meeting activity with existing accounts and prospects. Continuous follow up with clients and customer feedback to Slashdot Media Executives. Build deep relationships with senior level contacts at both client and agencies. Understand the Slashdot Media site strengths, functionality, positioning and competition – and adapt that understanding to our client’s specific objectives. Build creative proposals and presentations. Manage accurate territory revenue forecasts.
