At Humana, we’re seeking innovative people who want to make positive changes in their lives, the lives of our members, and the healthcare industry as a whole.   Assignment CapsuleThe Provider Engagement Consultant will provide consultation services to develop and maintain positive relationships with health care providers that result in optimal outcomes for providers, members and Humana. Liaison with health care providers for performance management of maximization of revenue, cost management, achievement of quality incentives and membership growth strategies Coordinate and facilitate regularly scheduled provider meetings to discuss operational and strategic initiatives and improvements Collaborate and coordinate with all internal partners in order to develop professional & comprehensive information, ideas and plans with providers Accountable for follow-up & follow-through Create positive experiences for Humana’s physicians and members Inspire health through incorporating Humana’s enterprise goals daily  Key CompetenciesInterpersonal Effectiveness:  Understands oneself, effectively manages emotions Customer Focus:  Connects meaningfully with customers to build emotional engagement and customer advocacy.  Simplifies complexity and integrates internal efforts to deliver an optimal customer experience.   Collaborates:  Engages others by gathering multiple views and being open to diverse perspectives, focusing on a shared purpose that puts Humana's overall success first.
