The mission of Hillview Mental Health Center, Inc. is to assist in empowering individuals and families affected by mental illness to assess their needs, strengths and goals, and work collaboratively with mental health professionals and other staff to plan services that are person-centered, culturally competent and effective in promoting recovery and the ability to live as fully participating members of the community.   We currently have an opening for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who must have the ability to provide comprehensive outpatient mental health services for transitional aged youth, adults, and older adults to include medication support services, diagnostic and assessment evaluations, and targeted case management services. The nurse practitioner will prescribe appropriate pharmacologic treatment modalities according to the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health formulary, collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical treatment teams and make appropriate referrals.
