Job ID: 13478Position Description: BASIC PURPOSE/SCOPE Under general direction this position teaches, trains and motivates the company’s sales force, manages the company’s distribution agreements with Independent Operators and ensures sales growth within the assigned region. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Attain budgeted volume, return percentage goals and expense control targets within the assigned district/divisionImplements sales promotions, new product introductions and other marketing related activitiesSubmits sales reports, calls on new accounts and conducts market evaluationsAchieves annual volume and return plansDevelops relationships with chain and store managementEnsures that product distribution is accomplished to customer satisfaction in agreement with contract terms and requirementsSupports the values and policies of the organizationOther duties as assigned.Position Requirements:Requirements: College Degree preferred plus 5 – 7 years of sales experience with a minimum of 3 years in a management role and project experience. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.Requires strong organizational, planning, negotiating and problem solving skills.Excellent people and communication (written and oral) skills.Advanced computer skills, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, Word and BBU Data Warehouse Systems (MicroStrategies, Margin Minder).Must be able to manage/balance an extensive travel related work schedule.A valid driver’s licenseMaintenance of confidentiality of any personal or company informationBilingual English/Spanish a plus This position requires the incumbent to have extensive experience and working knowledge of DSD operations.
