Central Garden & Pet Company (NASDAQ:CENT), is a leading innovator, marketer and producer of quality branded products for the pet, lawn and garden supplies markets. Our Pet Distribution segment is seeking a Merchandiser to join our team based out of the Tucson, AZ region. Receive inbound product and shelve according to retail schematics. Place stock replenishment orders for (grocery) retail stores. Count existing store inventory and process return goods.Please see our web site for additional company information - www.central.comKEY RESPONSIBILITIESReceive, unpack and scan via R/F unit inbound inventory for retail locations. Merchandise products according to schematics.Place replenishment orders for assigned retail locations. Pack and arrange the delivery of returned goods.Construct or assemble displays and display components according to specifications. Change and rotate interior display areas and signage to reflect promotional changes.Work closely with store sales staff in regards to shelf maintenance and appropriate merchandising standards.
