We are working with a Cincinnati based company that is looking to add a Senior Windows Engineer to our Infrastructure team within IT.  We are looking for a strong leader who can manage vendor relationships, can be hands on with the Wintel technology and has worked in a large environment.  It is critical that the right candidate is comfortable with the design and build aspect as well as support.  Job Responsibilities: Strong competency in all Wintel technologies, ie, VMWare, AD, Windows Servers, and storage Broad skill set will be appreciated, but candidates should be very strong/expert level in at least one of the disciplines above. Must be able to manage multiple projects at the same time, plug and play into different areas, SME on some, support and team member on others. Work with vendors, manage the relationship, create a strong comfort level with the vendors for the work to get done. Must be able to work effectively with people to get things done, move the project along, keep the projects moving, leadership experience is key. Qualifications: Minimum 8 years of experience in Information Technology Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft Server 2003/2008, Win XP, Win 7/8 (32 and 64 bit platforms) with ability to create and manage group policies, administration and support of Active Directory environments and ensuring that all security systems are in place is required Minimum 5 years of experience executing large-scale Microsoft PC transformation including OS upgrades, packaging and virtualization solutions; deployment experience of over 2,000 desktops is required Strong knowledge of server/desktop hardware and software to recommend policies and standards for support purchases, installation and utilization is required Experience taking a project from scoping requirements through development, delivery, and launch of applications is required Previous Fortune 1000 work experience is required #CB
