Identify new suppliers, negotiate with and manage current suppliers, and identify cost reduction opportunities. Create and report overall strategic sourcing plan for direct materials, metals, components, indirect. Drive supplier development, conduct supplier audits, develop supplier report cards and ensure service levels meet the needs of the company.  Develop appropriate action plans for corrections. Ensure all contracts, service levels and negotiations align within company guidelines. Lead bidding processes while ensuring cost and quality targets are met. Create and adjust work instructions for purchasing process.
