Further information is available at www.moodys.com The Role / Responsibilities:This position represents WebEquity at various levels including “C level” teams within our client base, thus requires a good depth and breadth of understanding, both of the Moody’s Analytics Solutions (WebEquity) offerings and the client business domain and associated challenges. It is envisaged that the candidate will have around 10 years of relevant industry experience and exposure to the domain(s) and markets that Moody’s Analytics Solutions (WebEquity) clients are active within.This is a challenging role and the successful candidates need to be good at network building both within Moody’s Analytics Solutions (WebEquity) and within the portfolio of clients they are requested to manage. They need to have the ability to quickly determine the politics of any given situation they find themselves presented with and possess good listening and negotiation skills to enable them to be effective at conflict resolution.The role may require a fair amount of travel, although it is expected that this will be restricted to be within the US. Those assigned global client responsibility will need to liaise with local colleagues to monitor activities within their respective regions, therefore out of region travel is anticipated to be exceptional.The remit of the team is broad and should provide an interesting series of challenges; however a key requirement is for the Client Managers to become fully conversant with the contracts in place with, or newly negotiated with their portfolio of clients such that they understand the revenue recognition aspects of the various engagements and their impacts on product revenue.Activities of the Assistant Director will include but not limited to: Map the client organization and identify the key stakeholders Attending Steering Committee meetings as Moody’s Analytics Solutions (WES) senior representative Plot the client roadmap and identify opportunities or potential issues for Moody’s Analytics Solutions (WES) Understand the revenue profile of the various client engagements Providing feedback to key ERS Stakeholders The position will be based in the Moody’s Analytics Solutions (WebEquity Solutions) Professional Services Group and will manage a team responsible for owning the overall client relationships for a designated set of accounts.The main objective of the role is to lead a team of Relationship Managers focused on securing renewals of existing contracts and improving retention and satisfaction by implementing a structured account plan for each client including pro-active client outreach.You will work with other members across the organization to provide key customers with value-added proactive customer service throughout the year.• Build, develop, manage and provide technical leadership for the entire Client Services Relationship Management team• Responsible for providing a premium level of service for all managed accounts• Work closely across all Moody’s Analytics Solutions (WebEquity) departments to ensure client issues and needs are communicated and resolved effectively• Define and measure key performance indicators around client satisfaction and product usage with the end goal of continuous improvement• Convey the Moody’s Analytics Solutions (WebEquity) value proposition, and deliver on sales targets for recurring revenue• Maintain a high level of product and banking knowledge• Provide current forecasts and pipeline information to senior management• Ensure all client contact within the group is documented utilizing the Client Relationship Management tool• Drive efforts to contact clients to promote and secure their attendance for various Moody’s Analytics Solutions (WebEquity) conferences and events• Strong initiative/results driven with track record of achieving/exceeding targets and goals.• Ability to effectively manage a team of professionals with focus and high attention to detail.• Responsible for 1st tier collection efforts for all managed accountsQualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Business, or similar field; MBA preferred.• Strong Presentation and communication skills gained in a similar role. • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a client facing role in Sales or Consulting within the financial services industry. • Credit or Risk domain knowledge • Good understanding and appreciation of WebEquity’s products and services. • Proven history in managing key stakeholder expectations. • Strong knowledge of the capital and credit markets and financial products. • Willingness to travel - approximately 15% of the time. • Fluency in English a must, additional languages advantageous.Client Services & Support TeamAs the Client Services Relationship Assistant Director, you will be responsible for improving the productivity of employees as well as further developing the team for our client-facing loan lifecycle management products. You will also be responsible for the effective development, coordination and presentation of Support and development programs for all employees and clients. In addition, you will manage the Retention efforts to reduce attrition from an account perspective whilst maintaining the revenue stream from our existing portfolio. You will be instrumental in the continuous development needs to drive Retention initiatives while identifying and arranging suitable solutions for our clients. This role will also require you to actively search, creatively design and implement effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance amongst both technical and non-technical teams.The Client Services Relationship Assistant Director is provided direct access to customer financial data and must treat and maintain such data with complete confidentiality to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
