Job Title: Human Resources Generalist Reports To: Regional Human Resources Manager Location: Lexington, KY Department: Human Resources Employees Supervised: None Primary Duties: This position coordinates human resources activities including employee relations, recruiting and selection for hourly and salaried positions, benefits administration, and payroll data entry. Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of employee issues and positive relationship with team members in efforts to support a team-based environment. Coordinates the interviewing, hiring, and selection of hourly and exempt team members. Perform new hire interviews with new team members still in the probationary period in order to identify any team members issues related to training, relationships with co-workers or team leaders, performance, benefit administration, etc. Manages payroll approval, oversight and employee payroll changes via KRONOS, working closely with corporate payroll personnel. Manage the plant-wide job-posting program including posting/removal of the open position and communication to team members and team leaders/managers regarding movement in a timely manner. Maintenance of training and position records for hourly production employees Facilitation of team member peer review panel. Assist employees in problem resolution Coordination of plant roundtables and committee meetings Lead engagement efforts through event planning and plant announcements Responsible for maintaining positive relationship with team members in efforts to support a team-based, environment. Off-hours HR support, ensuring coverage across shifts Support the facility in achieving the company’s objectives.
