For more than 20 years, PEPID is medical publisher that electronically delivers content for clinical decision support. PEPID is a leading provider of software for hospitals, emergency rooms, clinics, physicians, and pharmacists. Additionally, PEPID provides a vital teaching solution for facility and students at universities and schools worldwide. PEPID is poised for tremendous growth and is looking for a highly organized editorial production and digital content director who is eager to facilitate, manage and streamline all aspects of our digital editorial operations. If you are an experienced production/digital content manager who understands business models for publishing and production in format, how implement and maintain efficient workflow procedures, and can manage multiple long- and short-term projects, then we want to speak with you about joining our team.   Primary Responsibilities: Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, define the product vision, and work closely with software development, sales and marketing to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met Manage editorial projects to ensure execution, progress, delivery are all done in a timely manner and adhere to  company expectations Work closely with management to define, scope and deliver product strategies and goals, and develop content strategy to execute product visions and roadmaps Must have a “user focus" in to conceptualize innovative and marketable products. Must be able to turn great ideas into concrete product plans that fit the timeframe and resources available to adapt quickly to new technology and healthcare industry standards. Develop and implement new processes to streamline and formalize production procedures and documentation Ensure the proper training and communication of new products and/or product updates both internally and externally Positively represent the company to partner organizations, including affiliates, resellers, publishers Forge new relationships with third-party partner organizations and corporations in relation to editorial content development Negotiate and execute third-party editorial contracts on behalf of the company Direction of marketing and sales material associated with product (user guides, training manual, online help, product sheets, case studies, etc). Provide the sales team with the necessary product expertise to enable them to sell the product. Act as main point of contact for internal staff on product related questions Develop project plans and timelines for strategic projects and drive progress toward deadlines Monitor editorial content workflow and track ingoing and outgoing files Coordinate editorial team internal and external resources to produce content for delivery through effective resource management Adhere to demanding schedules and help uphold high quality standards, investigates any delays, errors or quality issues, and works to resolve any issues. Maintain awareness of new and emerging software and tools Collaborates with software development, QA and editorial departments to streamline and improve cross-departmental processes. Represent the company and content in conference calls, customer meetings and trade shows
