* Acts as focal point for the collection and analysis of CASS related issues that may be reported by other MAC departments, individual employees, or by outside sources such as vendors or the FAA.* Verifies the effectiveness of the MAC inspection and maintenance program through the CASS reliability performance function. * Performs the CASS surveillance data collection and corresponding analysis.* Facilitates corrective action and follow-up processes with the CASS Review Board and the Manager of Quality Audit.* Facilitates unscheduled internal or vendor audits as identified by the CASS.* Develop recommendations for changes to the MAC manual policies and procedures or MAC inspection and maintenance programs considered necessary for corrective action for discrepancies identified by the CASS.* Provide CASS reliability performance function training to qualified MAC personnel.* Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.Education and Experience: * FAA A&P License required.* 4-year degree preferred, high school diploma minimum.* Previous experience with MAC inspection and maintenance procedures, technical documents and aircraft systems preferred.* Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of technical publications. * Exceptional ability to understand and interpret operational data and evaluate facilities, equipment and procedures.* Ability to read and interpret FAA regulations and inspection instructions.* Ability to prepare written reports and correspondences, and presentations to senior leadership as required. * Ability to build and maintain positive relationships internally and externally* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.Supervisory Responsibilities: * None. Training Requirements: * General Safety. * Quality System Awareness. Physical Demands: * Light physical effort required. Continuous mental and visual attention required.* Job may be performed while sitting or standing.* Employees may be subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations. Personal Protective Equipment: * Wear appropriate PPE as designated in each work area (e.g. safety glasses, etc.)Work Environment: * Work may occasionally be performed in a shop environment. * Exposed to any number of elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable.
