This fantastic company has an Senior Accounts Payable Job opening due to expansion.  If you are seeking a role which will promote to a supervisor role and allow you to work for one of the nicest managers around, read on. Main Duties include: • Receiving and logging vendor invoices• Scanning and sending invoices to appropriate personnel for payment approval• Verifying approved invoices comply with Company policy and procedures• Day-to-day follow-up and maintenance of non-approved invoices • Preparing batches of invoices for data entry• Preparing weekly check runs and backup for wire transfers• Maintaining copies of all signed checks and filing in appropriate locations • Posting wire payments to accounting system such as machine duty• Assisting general accounting during month-end for accruals• Reporting overdue payable status to management• Maintaining vendor files in accounting systems Other Accounting related Duties include: • Assist in audit requirements• Various other general accounting projects                                Background/Skill set: • Communication skills (verbal and written)• A BS Degree is a plus• Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning certain expenditures and files• Ability to interact with management and external auditors on periodic basis• Intermediate to advanced excel knowledge   For immediate consideration please send your resume directly to:  [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] with Accounts Payable Coordinator Job, Chicago IL South in the subject line.  Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled
