Our team has an urgent need for a Senior Performance Engineer with a strong background in the Business Intelligence Domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record designing and implementing performance management solutions for large scale web apps using J2EE or .NET stacks.What You Will Be Doing- Spearheads performance characterization and enhancement of BI technology stack including ETL code, metadata definitions and modeling to move large data sets from disparate data sources including web data sources, cubes and relational data stores. - Bring your passion to contribute to a truly exceptional customer experience with reference to availability, latency and scalability of our suite of Software-as-a-Service corporate performance management products. - Respond to and resolve emergent customer performance problems; create automated tools to prevent performance recurrence. - Contribute to development teams in implementing performance optimizations during the entire SDLC including early design and development phases. - Continuously improve the performance framework to match the latest advancements that can benefit performance engineering. - Work closely with developer's code to tune for optimal performance under load. - Capture, analyze metrics and usage trends to highlight performance opportunities in the product to delight customers.What You Need for this Position- Successful track record designing and implementing performance management solutions for large scale web applications using J2EE or .Net stack. - Excellent OOP coding and scripting skills; good understanding of data structures and algorithms. - Excellent knowledge of high performance log analysis tools such as Graylog2, Logstash. - Good understanding of load testing and resource profiling tools such as JMeter, Loadrunner, JProfiler, YourKit. - Experience working on performance engineering for BI services will be a big plus. - Proven ability to collaborate with Architects, Developers and DBA to tune complex systems. - Working knowledge of OS design across Linux and Windows. - Experience in the Java stack and SQL performance tuning that includes garbage collection, JVM configuration, explain plan and query optimization will be a big plus. - Familiarity with next gen application performance management tools such as New Relic, AppDynamics and CA APM will be a plus.What's In It for YouGreat Pay+ Benefits + PreIPO stock options Team oriented work environment Flexible working hours Tons of room for advancementSo, if you are a Senior Performance Engineer with experience, please apply today!Required SkillsBusiness Intelligence Domain Knowledge, Large Scale Web Apps, OOP coding and scripting, Java and SQL performance tuning, Build Performance Test, Data Structures and Algorithms, Agile, Jmeter or other open source tools like JprofilerIf you are a good fit for the Senior Performance Engineer- BI, ETL, Metadata position, and have a background that includes:Business Intelligence Domain Knowledge, Large Scale Web Apps, OOP coding and scripting, Java and SQL performance tuning, Build Performance Test, Data Structures and Algorithms, Agile, Jmeter or other open source tools like Jprofiler and you are interested in working the following job types:Information Technology, Engineering, Professional ServicesWithin the following industries:Internet - eCommerce, Banking - Financial Services, BiotechnologyOur privacy policy: Your resume and information will be kept completely confidential.Looking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the job in more detail with you!
