The Opportunity: The Manager, Shared Services North America will be responsible for the newly formed North American shared services organization, with responsibility for supporting Invoice to Cash, Procure to Pay and General Accounting activities. The role will report to the Senior Manager, Global Shared Services. Initially the role will be responsible for activities related to the establishment of the shared service center, such as hiring process lead and analyst roles, helping lead the process documentation and training of new employees, development of policies and procedures, and supporting the local systems implementation. Upon establishment of the shared service center, the role will require day-to-day management of shared service activities, coordination and interaction with North American and US Controllership teams, supporting recruitment and retention of employees, and leading process improvement activities. The role is responsible for compliance and passing both internal and external audits for North American Shared Services. The Responsibilities: Play a lead role in month end financial close activities and oversee the day-to-day Account to Report, Invoice to Cash and Procure to Pay activities. Ensure all process teams deliver on key business metrics and objectives with the appropriate level of compliance and control Manage, coach and empower a team of supervisors to lead each process area Collaborate with Business Finance and Corporate Controllership teams to resolve any process issues and manage escalations Support ad-hoc projects as required, such as system implementations and process improvement initiatives Provide audit support including input and commentary. Ensure appropriate reconciliations are in place Ensure proper internal controls are implemented and adhered to Be an active member of North American Finance and Controllership teams; contribute to team initiatives
