Requisition ID: 15061 Title: User Experience Researcher Division: Arthrex, Inc. (US01) Location: INC- Naples, FL (US08) Main Objective: The User Experience Researcher will be responsible for conducting user-centered research, synthesizing data, and working with cross-functional teams to improve our products and generate innovative design ideas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work with UX designers, product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Design and conduct early stage design and product definition activities, including ethnographic research, interviews, personas, workshops, and focus groups. Contribute to building the UX research process, from participant recruiting, screening, scheduling and writing usability test plans. Perform the role of validating design concepts and product ideas with customers and gathering actionable feedback on user needs and usability. Participate in collaborative sessions with UX designers to translate research results into personas, prototypes, usage scenarios, and workflows. Establish research strategies and conduct studies using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods. Communicate research findings to assorted audiences through written reports and oral presentations. Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science in human computer interaction design, human interaction design, other design (computer science, industrial design, , or ) design and/or technology-related field (or equivalent job experience) required. Advanced degree(s) a plus. 3+ years of relevant work experience, including knowledge of a wide range of UX research methods and techniques including multi-screen UX research. Experience with data-based user research, user personas, ethnographic research, observation and analysis, story mapping, wire-frames, and task flows. Experience working in the medical industry a plus. Experience working in Agile development a plus. Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training: Knowledge of all aspects of user experience research, with a particular strength in integrating user research into product designs and design practices. Knowledge of human factors, user-centered design processes, interaction design guidelines, methodologies, industry standards and trends, usability testing methods, and an understanding of what constitutes clean and innovative design. A strong attention to detail and accuracy. Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and with other tools such as Jira, Visio, Lucidcharts, Acrobat, Invision, Balsamiq or Protoshare a plus All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
