The Commercial IT Specialist is responsible for providing on-site installation services to all of Guardian’s commercial customers and some residential customers.  The primary focus is on installing hardware and software products and services that have been specified and sold by Guardian.  Products include:  access control systems and software, surveillance products such as IP cameras and video management software platforms as well as analog DVRs and cameras, IP based intercom systems, fire systems, TCP/IP based network hardware and software, and intrusion system software and hardware.• Work on servers, workstations, software, and networks that will either be completely installed and supplied by Guardian or in environments where Guardian will install software and hardware on customer-owned networks, servers, and workstations.• Work with customer’s IT departments to solve software, networking, and hardware issues. • Configure and troubleshoot remote viewing of our surveillance systems and network based access control systems.• Install and configure apps on both Android and Apple based devices. • Travel to customer locations on a daily basis using a company-supplied vehicle.
