George Mason University  Director, Finance Administrative Systems Team (FAST) George Mason University, Fiscal Services seeks a Director of Financial Administrative Systems Team (FAST). FAST is a diverse team that provides analysis, support and development of new procedures to automate and streamline existing Ellucian Banner and other financial processes.  Responsibilities:  Uses a comprehensive knowledge of Ellucian Banner applications, especially Finance and its interfaces (e.g., Grants, Human Resources, and Accounts Receivable), to analyze processes and procedures to streamline and create best practice models where possible; serves as a liaison between the user community and the Information Technology Unit (ITU) by writing functional specifications, testing proposed system changes, and making recommendations for implementation; establishes priorities for system modification and problem resolution; and develops annual project plan based on requests from the Controller and from other fiscal departments such as Budget, General Accounting, Purchasing and Accounts Payable, Student Accounts, Sponsored Programs, etc. Responsible for understanding business processes in a manner that can be articulated to the technical team during development of new innovations. Assists other fiscal departments as system issues or problems arise during normal production cycles.
