GENERAL DESCRIPTIONResponsible for the hands on operation of automated injection-blow molding equipment, and the production of high-quality bottles in a safe and efficient manner.RESPONSIBILITIES• Performs basic troubleshooting of injection-molding equipment and downstream support equipment.• Completes daily and monthly preventative maintenance requirements.• Verifies that raw materials and material requirements match the product orders.• Monitors raw material levels to ensure uninterrupted production.• Clears bottle or tier sheet jams at the palletizers.• Performs hourly quality control checks on bottles.• Completes mold changes and start-ups.• Completes daily zone cleaning schedule.• Documents and enters all required information of downtime, scrap, and parts into PICS.• Works with the Team Lead to identify the root cause of bottle defects and then determine corrective actions.• Adheres to safety training requirements and procedures, and ensures all safety devices are on equipment.• Maintains ISO, OSHA, and GMP standards.• Reports quality or food safety issues to Supervisor.• Other duties as assigned.
