This individual will work closely with our customers and support all sales initiatives to achieve expectations, and be responsible for customer development with regard to ordering, merchandising, and display opportunities.Territory offers excellent potential for establishing new accounts. Continual support is offered to ensure your success by providing training, uniforms, and handheld computers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide vacation relief for RSR's and loaders, train new RSR's, assist with rack resets, and covering open routes until new RSR's are trained.Cover vacation relief routes, may need to travel overnight.Responsible for route operational activity, including ordering and distribution, merchandising, promotional activity, holiday planning, and meeting customer expectations.Communicate with customers to assist them in understanding the promotional activity, and understand what our customer delivery expectations are.Ensure that product distribution is accomplished to customer satisfaction in agreement with any contract terms and requirements.Assist customer relations to include selling of new products, and space/position gains.Represent BBU as a leader in the baking business.Ability to provide a high level of customer service and solve customer issues as they arise.Position Requirements:High School graduate or GED required excellent interpersonal skillsBasic computer skills helpful.Previous DSD operation or route sales experience desiredA valid drivers licenseAble to lift and carry up to 50 lbsThe ability to drive a standard shift truckMust follow all DOT regulations and be able to pass a DOT physical.Able to work early mornings and weekendsPosition Attributes:Bimbo Bakeries USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against applicants due to race, ethnicity, gender, veteran status, or on the basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
