The Opportunity | Quality Assurance Supervisor You will serve as a link between QA Management and Floor Inspectors on daily matters. You will also be a key QA contact in the manufacturing area. Your Challenge Coordinate with Production Control and Manufacturing Supervisor on QC needs Assign work to inspectors through direction given by QA Management Assist in performing any QA functions as required Review inspection needs of new parts to determine if new gaging is needed Train new or less experienced personnel Become heavily involved in inspection problem areas and keep QA management up to date on the status of these problems Communication with and scheduling of course inspectors Pack sheet creation Shipping responsibilities Perform duties as assigned by QA Managed. Your Expertise High School diploma or equivalent 3+ years’ Quality Inspection experience required Previous supervisory experience is an advantage Experience using all inspection tools in use on the shop floor and in the calibration lab This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
