Mercy Suburban Hospital, a 129-bed community-based acute-care teaching hospital in East Norriton, Pennsylvania, seeks a full time (40 hours per week) Unit Facilitator. This position is the 7:00am to 3:30pm shift and includes weekend and holiday rotations. Under direct supervision of the Professional Care Provider, the Unit Facilitator performs specific duties to provide service and comfort to patients and families in accordance with the mission and values of Mercy Health System. Candidate must High School graduate or equivalent. Post High School program for Unit Clerks preferred. Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred. Must have the ability to communicate effectively, possess excellent organization skills and manage time effectively. Mercy Suburban provides comprehensive services in emergency medicine, surgery, cardiac and respiratory care, orthopedic care, breast care, intensive and critical care, acute rehabilitation, sport medicine, diagnostic and interventional radiology, senior behavioral health and home care. Mercy Suburban operates the Mercy Cancer Center and physician practices in Central Montgomery County. Mercy Suburban was founded in 1944 and is a member of the Mercy Health System of Southeastern PA.
