The Opportunity | Senior Technical Sales Account Manager Location: North East US, preferably Windsor Locks, CT.  As part of the sales team, you will provide technical sales support to assure successful customer integration and implementation of established company products. You will support unit sales plan through pre-sales and/or post-sales technical consulting activities. Your Challenge Prepare and present customer network systems/equipment needs plan to company teams to assure complete plan is feasible within cost, time and environment constraints. Identify, obtain and respond to market opportunities. Establish and maintain effective customer and industry networking relationships through various means of contact. Typical pre-sales activities include gaining understanding of customer’s business and analysis of customer’s communication network needs, preparation and presentation of technical proposals of how company’s products can meet those needs and be integrated. Typical post-sales activities include keeping customer current on how company’s product enhancements can meet customer’s changing business and network system needs. Your Expertise Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline 4-6 years of experience in an engineering or technical sales environment Advance business and/or sales training Oral and written communication skills Proficiency in MS Office Organization and presentation skills Ability to handle multiple opportunities and meet strict deadlines. This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
